Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
